The SSLFOR SSL Checker reads the public certificate for a hostname and presents the details that matter during certificate installation and renewal: validity dates, days remaining, subject, issuing CA, Subject Alternative Names, hostname match, certificate-chain status, serial number and SHA-256 fingerprint.
Hostname validation is important because a certificate can be cryptographically valid while still being wrong for the exact domain a visitor requested. SSLFOR reports that condition separately instead of calling the connection secure when the certificate name does not match.
Use this checker after installing or renewing a certificate, when troubleshooting browser certificate warnings, or before a scheduled renewal window. For deeper protocol configuration, continue with the TLS Server Analyzer.
