Convert common SSL certificate formats locally

Different servers and operating systems expect different certificate formats. The SSLFOR SSL Converter converts a PEM X.509 certificate to binary DER, converts DER back to PEM, creates password-protected PFX/P12 bundles from a certificate and matching RSA private key, and extracts certificates and private keys from an existing PFX/P12 file.

Before creating a PFX, SSLFOR compares the RSA public components of the certificate and private key. A mismatch stops the conversion instead of producing a bundle that will fail during installation. Optional intermediate CA certificates can be included with the leaf certificate.

PFX extraction and creation run in the browser. Use a strong PFX password when the target platform supports it and protect exported files because a PFX can contain the private key.
